How to select products into a strategy

There are two ways to choose products for a pricing strategy:

Choose and Lock the items you wish to add into a strategy
Let products move automatically between strategies based on chosen information

Choose and lock items into a strategy

Start by going to the Product Catalog. From the Product Catalog you can use Filters or insights to find the products for which you wish to create a strategy for.

Once you have selected your desired products, click Assign pricing action to selected at the top right of your toolbar (represented with a dollar sign icon)

2. Select the strategy type from the pricing actions menu. This opens the pricing workflow editor modal where you will name your pricing strategy and give it a description. This is also where you will define the pricing actions, safeguards, settings, and backup actions or AI settings you wish to execute.

Allow products to move automatically between strategies based on chosen information

Start by going to the Product Catalog. From the Product Catalog you use Filters and/ or insights to find the products for which you wish to create a pricing strategy for. Please note: Do not select any individual items into the strategy.

Once you have selected the desired attributes, click Assign pricing action to selected at the top right of your toolbar (represented with a dollar sign icon) and choose the strategy type you wish to create.

3. Note, you can also access the create a strategy with filters view and choose the strategy type you wish to create. You can then modify the chosen attributes, also in the strategy settings view. Just click on the three dots in your product view and choose the strategy type.
