What is a one-time price change?

A one-time price change comes in handy when you want to adjust your prices to a certain one-time only level. For example, if you are not sure what strategy you should be following, but you are sure that your current prices are not ideal then you may try a one-time price change.

This would give you some insight on how the prices you set are affecting the products you sell. You could then apply a temporary optimized price strategy to your products. This gives you time to work through all your options on the path to developing a more concrete, long term pricing strategy.

Note: competitor availability information is available only for specific modules.

There's two ways to create a dynamic pricing strategy:

Create a one-time price change from Product Catalog

  1. Start from the Product Catalog view and choose the products you wish to add to the strategy. Use filters to find desired products. Choose the products and click Assign pricing actions to selected.

2. Choose Create one-time price change.

3. The following view will open. From here you can choose the pricing actions, pricing safeguards and activate the price change immediately or set it to activate at a specific date and time.

4. After you have created and confirmed your price strategy, Sniffie will help keep your prices up to date, just as you want them to be.

Create one-time price change from Pricing Matrix

  1. Choose the products you wish to add to the strategy. Use filters to find desired products. Choose the products and click Assign pricing actions to selected.

  2. Choose One-time price change

  3. The following view will open. From here you can choose the pricing actions, pricing safeguards and activate the price change immediately or set it to activate at a specific date and time.

  4. After you have created and confirmed your price strategy Sniffie will help keep your prices up to date, just as you want them to be.
